Master Nathanael Verbeke
began studying under Master Thomas Wasylyk in 1996. In 1999 he was
awarded his black belt and began teaching. He continued to teach and
train throughout his college career at DeSales University. After
graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2005 with a degree in English he served a
two year apprenticeship under Master Wasylyk running the Wasylyk Karate
studio in Honesdale, Pa.
In May of 2008 he was promoted to the rank of Master Instructor through the Traditional Tang Soo Do International (tangsoodo.org). Master Verbeke brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience teaching and competing. He has won gold, silver and bronze medals locally and nationally. In October 2006 he was among a small group of Traditional Tang Soo Do International members that competed at an organization sponsored tournament in Manchester, United Kingdom, winning a gold medal in sparring, a silver medal in forms, and a silver medal in weapons.
